Being friends is sometimes fucking hard. There are moments in which ppl you don't like are super nice to you and show u they like you as a person, but u don't like them. I think that's the situation in which Shina is. But in time, sometimes, those ppl really become friends.

The story is about Shina, a girl attending a special training school in order to become a "scythe-wielder" - a person that fights "impure beings". As a part of integration with "pure beings", commonly referred to as maras, every student is partnered up with such a creature. Shina is against this system, but to her great displeasure she is forced to work with equally unwilling Tanatos, who despises humans. Will they overcome prejudice and graduate as good partners?
