Alone
They messed with her head,
dreams pouring from the sky into her Mind
Synthetic sleep took her
Off to distant lands
Of which she had little control
However, she used to,
She would create havens in her mind
To escape her reality
Her reality where home
Was a steel gurney
And bags hooked to delicate skin
Living face masks
Looming over her where she lay
Alone
