Metal Gear Solid V

I’ve always been told that Kojima makes good games. After playing Metal Gear Solid V, I can say with certainty that statement is right.
--Verdict--
Art: It’s a realistic-looking open world. The graphics are pretty darn good, but there’s not really any artistic moves here that absolutely wow me.
Gameplay: You’re “Venom” Snake, a grizzled war veteran thrust back into service after an evil organization threatens world domination. This is a very high-level overview, because if I tried to explain the hours of cutscenes that just the intro level provides we’d be here for a while.
Basically, run around an open world doing missions in whatever way your little heart desires. Ride a horse guns blazing into the middle of a warehouse? Sure. Stealthily takeout a garrison and then send the stunned guards back to your base with flying parachutes? Sounds good. Seduce a guard with a cardboard cutout of a pinup model? Why not.
Replayability: Very high. Due to the incredibly open nature of this game, each mission can be carried out in a practically infinite number of ways. This makes every encounter feel fresh and new, even if you’ve played the scenario before.
Would I recommend? This may be a polarizing statement, but I could care less about the plot in this game – the gameplay is what makes MGSV so dang good. It straddles the line between realistic atmosphere and never taking itself too seriously in a way that challenges how I’ve thought about war games.
